First time trying the pasta happy hour, and it was like being invited into someone's home. The service was friendly and warm; and the food was delicious. For context, I live in the south and have dined in the gulf coast US The ambiance is quaint and intimate without taking itself too seriously which I enjoyed. The menu is a prefixe or chefs selection which was also was a welcome to explore a lot of the items on the menu. Portions were pretty significant for two and will leave you feeling plenty full. I had the hush puppies, Campanella, gnocchi, steak, and fried chicken. All were very good - the rock stars were the fried chicken and Campanelle.
Wow the fried chicken saved my life for sure. This was a great experience. Our waitress was so helpful in deciding our entrees and pairing a wine with them as well. We got the fried chicken which is an absolute must. Okay I lied we got TWO fried chickens. We also got their hush puppies (honey butter was divine) burrata and the pimento cheese.
