The best kosher cafe in crown heights. Beautiful designed place with a delicious but carb heavy menu selection in the display. It is a little pricey at about $10 for many of the items which are not huge, but the flavors there are very good. Good service.
If Utica Ave ever needed proof that miracles taste better with elbow room, Almah Café has delivered. This location is warmer, more spacious than their Albany sibling, and the menu feels like it’s bursting at the seams with options. This time I went for their so‑called Jerusalem bagel, which, spoiler alert, is not a bagel at all. What arrived was a golden, airy pastry topped with egg and pesto, and it was absolutely delicious. Good vibe for a coffee shop. Enough space to spread out and do work in a productive manner. The food it good and authentic. I had some of the pastries and they were way better than expected. Great quality and price. The salads are good. They have a few options but you can't make your own salad if you are wondering. Service was good, they answered questions and helped out to make decisions. Friendly and kind without being pushy. Overall good experience.
