I had high expectations for Hani's because of all the hype and it's a lovely bakery. We stopped by on a Tuesday around 9:45am and there was no wait, but seats were all taken so keep in mind if you plan on visiting and want to eat in. Got the cinnamon roll (good - could use more cinnamon and I felt there was too much icing, but my friend thought it was the perfect amount), triple chocolate cookie (huge and great texture, but too sweet for me probably because of the mix of chocolates) and the pb
Soooo many options!!! We got the chocolate chip cookie and I’d say it’s top 3 I’ve ever had. We came on a Saturday afternoon and had to wait outside in line a little bit, the workers offered people umbrellas since it started to rain and I didn’t wait more than 10 minutes to get inside. Once inside, we were immediately attended to. Henrique took our order & was so incredibly sweet and helpful! I saw them run around and help clean up tables and bring out more pastries, he alone gets 5 stars from
Amazing. Loved everything we tried: chocolate chip cookie, cosmic brownie, carrot cake, passion fruit meringue. All hitters. There was the usual line outside but it goes quickly thanks to the efficiency and hard work of the staff. Want to go back soon and try everything. In the conversation for best bakery in NYC.
